Reducing single use plastics
We have continued to invest in automated pallet wrapping stretch plastic machines to reduce single use plastic packaging materials.
Our 2019 investment eliminated an estimated 1.7 tonnes of single-use plastic.
We replaced bulky bubble bags with bubblemask, a product that sticks to surfaces and protects odd shaped products during shipping. For calendar year 2019, this resulted in a reduction of an estimated 2 tonnes of single-use plastics.

WoolCool®
Woolcool® is the pioneer in wool based thermal packaging, using research and development to create a range of eco-friendly packaging solutions.
Wool is one of the most sustainable natural materials, being available in abundance as a by-product of rearing sheep. The global sheep population is in excess of 1.2 billion.
Recent changes in EU GDP guidelines now require temperature monitoring of CRT products in distribution. Woolcool® insulated packaging has been independently proven to keep ambient pharmaceuticals within 15ºC-25ºC and other Controlled Room Temperature challenges.
Supplier code of conduct
In addition, using a Supplier Code of Conduct, we implement principles throughout our business whilst pursuing greater transparency and accountability.
We work with third party auditors and our supply chain partners to ensure that safe, fair & healthy working conditions are upheld throughout our supply chain.
