Terms and Conditions | AHDA Conference 2020

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry is deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information

The promoter is AH UK ANIMAL HEALTH (PVT) LTD, T/A COVETRUS, whose registered office is The Point, 9th floor, 37 North Wharf Road, London, W2 1AF.

1. The competition is open to all attendees of the AHDA Conference 2020, aged 18 years or over, not including employees of AH UK ANIMAL HEALTH (PVT) LTD, T/A Covetrus and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

3. Only one entry will be accepted per person at Stand 31. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

4. The event begins on the 14th January 2020 at 08:30 a.m. Closing date for entry will be January 16th, 16:00 p.m, at the closing of the AHDA Conference 2020. After this date/time, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.[M1] 

5. To enter AHDA Conference 2020 Delegates will be required to complete an entry form including merchant name, contact number, email address, name and address of retail outlet. 

6. The Promoter cannot take responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.

8. Winners will be chosen by an independent adjudicator from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents.

9. The winner will be notified by a member of the Covetrus team  on the day of the draw (Friday 17th January 2020) either by phone or email address using contact details[M3]  provided on entry form. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their connections during this time in case they are the winner and it is the responsibility of entrants to check junk/spam folders to ensure they are in receipt of any communications.

10. The promoter will dispatch the prize within 30 days.[MR4] 

11. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material.

12. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

13. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

14. Any tax liability arising from receipt of the prize will be the responsibility of the recipient.

15. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

16. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

17. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion.

18. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by [UK] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [the United Kingdom].

19. These terms and conditions and any related disputes are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless your residential address is in Scotland, N.Ireland or Republic of Ireland where local law applies.

20. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent.
